Last week our class went to Madrid. We left Banyoles at 8:15 in the morning to go to Barcelona to take the AVE "Alta velocidad Española" at 11h. The AVE goes in a average speed of 280 km/h. We arrived to the cpital of Spain at 14: 30h.
In the afternoon we visited La plaza mayor, La puerta de Alcalà , La puerta del Sol, las Civeles the Palacio real and his gardens and the statue of Don Quijote, Sancho Panza and Miguel de Cervantes.
The next day we visited the Casa de la Maoneda, it was cool we saw the most expensive coin in the world it costs 2 million euros. We had lunch in a Restaurant together. In the afternoon we visited the Prado Museum. There are really beatiful pictures of Velazquez, Goya and Rubens. My favourite picture was Las Meninas, its fantastic!
The last day we visited the Congreso De Los Diputados, it was grat, i enjoy it a lot.
After that we had lunch and we take the plane at 20:45 h to came to Girona. We arrived to Banyoles at 1:45 in the night
